Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data PromptLink collects, why, and how you can control it.

1. What we collect

• Account info: your email address and display name (from Google sign-in or email/password signup).
• Content you create: prompt titles, descriptions, and prompt text you save to generate a link.
• Usage events: views, copies, and AI-tool launches on your prompt links, used to power your own analytics dashboard.
• Billing info: if you upgrade to Pro, payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive your subscription status and renewal date — we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details.

2. How we use it

To create your account and keep you signed in, to run the prompt-link and quota features you use, to show you analytics for your own prompts, and to process Pro plan billing. We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We use Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication, database, and hosting, and Razorpay for payment processing. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms — we don't share your data with anyone else.

4. Shared links are public

Anyone who has a prompt link's URL can view that prompt's content, without signing in. Only create and share links for prompts you're comfortable with anyone who has the link seeing.

5. Your rights

You can update your display name any time from Dashboard → Settings. To request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or delete your account and associated data, email info@promptlink.in from your registered email address.

6. Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. Free plan prompt links expire and stop being accessible after 7 days as described in our Terms, but the underlying record is retained with your account until you request deletion.

7. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children

PromptLink is not directed at children under 18.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
